We have all seen colorful pictures of edible bouquets on the Internet many times, many even received such an interesting present as a gift. And they always wondered "is it difficult to make such a bouquet yourself?" Our florists decided to reveal all the cards and share with you a lesson on how to make an edible bouquet yourself.
The products can be selected according to the taste preferences of the recipient of the bouquet, for men most often they choose meat or cheese bouquets, for women fruit or candy bouquets. You can also collect a bouquet according to the color of a party or event, choose a theme topper and the recipient will definitely like the bouquet!
When buying the components of the bouquet, you should not choose too juicy and soft fruits, they do not hold well on skewers and quickly flow down, losing their appearance. If you still opted for soft fruits, such as strawberries, you must first put on a skewer a piece of hard apple so that it would hold the berry on itself.
Today we will look at how to make a fruit bouquet. To do this, we selected all seasonal fruits: 5 green apples, 1 lemon, 1 coconut, green grapes, we use mint and cotton bolls for decoration. If you want a more unusual bouquet, you can use exotic fruits.
Secret: in order for the bouquet to turn out as interesting and beautiful as possible, you should choose 1 large and large fruit for it, which will stand in the center and become the "highlight" of the bouquet, the rest of the fruits are smaller. Do not forget about greenery and decor that will dilute the bouquet and it will look more stylish.
Before making a bouquet, fruits must be washed and dried. It is advisable to cut the coconut, so it looks better in a bouquet. It is not recommended to cut apples as they darken quickly. Cut fruit is best wrapped in plastic wrap.
For our bouquet, we took medium-sized skewers and scotch tape. Short skewers are usually used for compositions in a box or box, long skewers for tall bouquets of fruit. We put the fruits on skewers so that they do not fall out of the fruit and hold the product tightly on ourselves (the video shows in detail how to do this). For large fruits, you can use several skewers so that the composition does not break under the weight of the fruit. The coconut can be pierced from the bottom with a corkscrew and inserted into the resulting hole with a skewer, or glue the skewers to the coconut with tape.
The main and largest item is often placed in the center, in our bouquet it is a coconut (you can also use pineapple, grapefruit, mango, etc.). Gradually substitute skewers with smaller fruits for the coconut and glue the skewers together. We alternate fruits with decor and herbs. At this stage, do not rush or try to glue all the skewers at the same time, since the bouquet will not hold well and some of the skewers may come off.
When all the skewers with fruits are already collected in a bouquet, we fix all the skewers with an additional layer of adhesive tape.
An edible bouquet must be wrapped in a package, so that it holds better, the skewers and scotch tape are not visible, and so that the fruit does not get dirty and crumpled during transportation. The packaging can be chosen from plain paper, bright with themed inscriptions, two-color printed or burlap.
For our bouquet, we have chosen a plain green tracing paper (floristic film that does not wrinkle and does not get wet) and dilute it with tracing paper with yellow zigzags.
You can make a packaging option like our bouquet, take 4 squares of packaging and wrap the bouquet with them one by one. You can also wrap the bouquet with an "envelope" or, if this is not the first time you collect the bouquet, choose more sophisticated packaging techniques.
You should definitely add a bright and festive bow to the package, take a couple of photos and post them on social networks so that everyone knows that you can create such beauty!
