Of all types of orchids, phalaenopsis are considered the most unpretentious and long-flowering. With proper care, phalaenopsis blooms for a long time and lives in the house up to 7 years.
Phalaenopsis refers to heat-loving plants, but poorly tolerate direct sunlight. Comfortable temperature stay 22-24 degrees. When the temperature drops below 16 degrees, the plant begins to hurt, flower buds may crumble. Watering orchids should be moderate year round. The substrate should not dry out very much, but it is not worth pouring orchids. With excessive watering, fungal infections can occur and the flower can simply rot. Phalaenopsis require constant maintenance of high air humidity (fine spraying of leaves and air around)
